Equipment Regulations
1. All players must wear a hockey helmet with the chinstrap fastened. If a player participates in the play without his helmet he will be assessed a minor penalty. Facial protection is advised, but not mandatory. Any player who plays without a full cage or half visor, does so at their own risk.
2. Hockey, lacrosse or ball hockey gloves must be worn.
3. No hockey shoulder pads allowed.
4. Goalies must wear full equipment including facemasks.
5. Shin pads and athletic supporters are encouraged, but not mandatory, if a player chooses to play without either, they do so at their own risk.
6. The SBHL game ball will be the orange ball hockey ball, not a tennis ball or any other ball.
